Hello everyone! My name is Meiya (she/her) and I am a third-year studying History and Philosophy. I am from Cambridge, Massachusetts, though I grew up in Ames, Iowa, was born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and most of my extended family lives either in Yunnan Province, China, or the Fort Peck Reservation in northeastern Montana. Let me know if you share a tie or two to any of these places, all of which are near and dear to me. I have staffed and co-chaired Emory Model UN conferences in the past and am a member of the travel team. I have also done debate and mock trial, surprise. I love to watch Saturday Night Live, bike, play the cello, watch the Celtics, and travel with my best friend in really cheap and chopped manners. After I graduate, I plan to travel a lot for a little while and then go to law school. I am stoked to have fun with this committee. Cheers!
