It is with distinct pleasure and honor that I invite you to attend the 8th session of the Model United Nations at Emory (MUNE) collegiate conference, to be held February 6-9, 2020. Though we have been running for less than a decade, we have proven ourselves to be one of the most professionally run and enjoyable conferences in the country. Over the past several years, we established MUNE to be the premier Atlanta MUN conference with delegates from across the United States, and as of last year, have also expanded to international delegates.
We pride ourselves on providing a delegate-driven conference experience, which means that every new initiative, innovation, and piece of feedback implemented is focused on executing an unparalleled experience. Every year we offer a diverse set of committees, both GA and crisis, that cater to the unique preferences for all delegates, no matter their level of experience. Our conference has historically served 200+ delegates, with our dedicated staff of over 100, trained to deliver the best possible delegate experience.
MUNE is distinguished for its creative, innovative, and entertaining crisis committee experience. We recently became the first university to successfully execute a consecutive 24-hour committee, which resulted in an intense, yet unique display of what is possible in collegiate MUN. We understand what delegates want in a MUN conference; our staffers are trained to respond effectively to all situations and feedback. For this reason, our conference is renowned as unequivocally effective, well-staffed, and accommodating.
We look forward to hosting you in the beautiful, sunny city of Atlanta, Georgia, a city that allows us to deliver lively and fun social events. We welcome all forms of feedback and requests, so if you have any inquiries at all regarding our conference, please do not hesitate to reach out to our Secretariat. I sincerely hope that you will join us on February 2020.
Secretary-General, MUNE VIII
