Dear Delegates,
It is my honor to welcome you to Emory National Model United Nations Conference VI, hosted at Emory University's very own campus in Atlanta, Georgia. ENMUNC VI will commence on Friday, March 27, and conclude on Sunday, March 29, 2026. Our entire team at the Emory International Relations Association is working tirelessly to put on this conference, and we appreciate every single one of you that decides to spend your weekend with us at ENMUNC.
Allow me to introduce myself, Sam Aurora, as the Secretary General for this year's conference. I am incredibly excited to be hosting this conference for all of you. I have done model UN for eight years, and this is my fourth and final year as a member of Emory's competitive travel team. My favorite experience every year has been seeing the excitement around our high school conference, and I am so excited to be following in the footsteps of our past Secretary-Generals in leading this conference.
I want to spread the joy that I have gotten through my years of model UN, and I hope to (somehow) surpass even the high standards set by our previous iterations of ENMUNC and my predecessor, Thalia Vincent. I hope that each and every delegate stretches the bounds of their creativity, hones their communication skills, and gets to have fun at ENMUNC VI. I cannot wait to see you all take your next steps in a long and fruitful journey.
I also would be remiss if I did not mention how grateful I am for the contributions of everyone on our staff for putting on this conference. I have learned so much by staffing seven prior conferences with Emory and learning from three prior stints on conference secretariat teams. Each member of the ENMUNC VI secretariat has been an absolute delight to work with, and their dedication provides me so much hope for the future of this conference. Each chair, crisis director, and general staffer is absolutely essential to providing delegates with the best experience possible, and this conference would be nothing without them.
I eagerly look forward to an incredible experience this March with all of you.
Sincerely,
Sam Aurora
Secretary-General
ENMUNC VI
