UNESCO is a specialized agency dedicated to promoting education, science, culture, and communication. They create solutions to some of the greatest challenges of our time by setting standards, producing useful tools, and developing knowledge to foster greater equality and peace in the world.
Topic 1: Addressing and Combatting Threats Against Freedom of Expression and Accessible Information
Agenda 2: Understanding the Growth of AI and its Impact on Scientific development, discovery, and preservation.
Chair: Parisha Narang
Parisha Narang (she/her) is a Freshman at Oxford College of Emory University. She is from Delhi, India but has lived in Dubai, UAE, for most of her life. She is a Neuroscience and Behavioural Biology major. Her involvement in MUN started in Sophomore year of high school and continued throughout till now, where she is the Junior Head Delegate of General Assembly for Oxford International Relations Association and was a backroom staffer at MUNE. Apart from MUN, Parisha loves reading, going to club events, playing sports, and trying new foods. She is incredibly excited to be involved in ENMUNC VI and to see exciting debate.
